Max is a co-founding managing partner of IQ Capital Partners, a Cambridge-based venture capital firm that invests in UK ‘deep-tech’ across sectors including machine learning, AI, engineering and materials, and data-focused propositions based on disruptive algorithms. Max has over 15 years’ venture capital experience, including investments in Grapeshot (Oracle), Phonetic Arts (Google), Neul (Huawei) and Stillfront (IPO). He currently sits on several boards including Thought Machine, Audio Analytic, Concirrus and Fluidic Analytics. He holds BSc in Economics (Maryland) and an MBA (University of Cambridge). Max is also an elected member of Invest Europe Venture Capital Council (previously EVCA).
